Philippe Caine, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Certified in Therapeutic Ultrasound
and Hot Stone Therapy
Philippe is well versed in the treatment and prevention of sports related injuries, overuse injuries, and musculoskeletal pain conditions. Philippe believes that most pains and tightness stem from fascial restrictions; either in deep surroundings and insulating individual muscles or superficial between the skin and muscle. Nevertheless, the restrictions are present, causing myofascial (muscle and fascia as a unit) pain. Philippe treats from superficial to deep, getting through to the root of the problem with great lasting results.
Philippe is registered and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario. He is also a certified therapeutic ultrasound therapist and Hot Stone Therapy. Philippe uses the ultrasound to prepare the muscles and surrounding tissue for deep treatment, minimising post treatment soreness, reducing inflammation, and reducing healing time. Along with myofascial release, Philippe incorporates isolated stretches and trigger point therapy to where it is needed, but his treatments always have a relaxation component for the rest of the body, and mind.
